On 10/4/2023 at 6:11 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries at the intersection of RT 52 & E 30th RD. (Mission TWP) Vincent Brand (56) of Millington was driving north on E 30th RD when he failed to yield the right away at the intersection. A vehicle traveling east on RT 52 struck the back left corner of his vehicle. Kennedy Perry (25) of Chicago, IL was driving east on RT 52 when Vincent failed to yield the right away. She was unable to avoid his vehicle and struck his back left corner. Vincent was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident and released with a NTA.
On 10/5/2023 at 6:23 pm LaSalle County Deputies responded to 1123 N Otter Creek (B&R Grocery) Otter Creek TWP for two subjects causing a civil disturbance. Subsequently Deandre Jackson (34) of Streator was arrested for violation of order of protection and transported to LASCO Jail. He was also given a no trespassing warning.
