On 10/26/2023 at 6:20 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of RT 251 & N 2551st RD. (Peru TWP) Scott Draper (43) of Oglesby was driving south on RT 251 when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front right corner of his vehicle.
On 10/26/2023 at 7:56 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of E 1553rd RD & N 42nd RD. (Earl TWP) Dave Buschman (42) of Earlville was driving north on E 1553rd RD when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front right corner of his vehicle.
On 10/28/2023 at 6:38 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of N 2150th RD & E 10th RD. (Deer Park TWP) Joyce Duggin (37) of Pontiac, IL was driving west on N 2150th RD when a deer entered the roadway. She was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of her vehicle.
On 10/30/2023 at 6:30 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of RT 52 & E 3rd RD. (Troy Grove TWP) Marino Toro (35) of Saint Francis, WI was making a right turn onto E 3rd RD when his trailer entered the west ditch and struck a stop sign.
On 10/31/2023 at 4:06 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of 4775 E 1351st RD. (Earl TWP) Wade Mcclellan (23) of Warrenville, IL was driving south on E 1351st RD when he lost control of his vehicle, entered the east ditch and struck a utility pole with the front right corner of his vehicle.
On 10/31/2023 at 6:39 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of RT 351 & E 350th RD. (LaSalle TWP) Natalie Oakley (41) of Oglesby was driving southeast on RT 351 when she lost control of her vehicle on the icy roadway and struck a concrete barrier with the front end of her vehicle.
On 10/31/2023 at 9:24 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of 3241 RT 251. (Dimmick TWP) Brian Castaneda (20) of Mendota was driving north on RT 251 when he attempted two pass two vehicles, lost control on the icy roadway, entered the west ditch, struck a tree and overturned multiple times. Brian was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
On 11/1/2023 at 10:37 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 22ndRD. (Fall River TWP) Bonnie Nieto (41) of Chicago, IL was cited for no valid registration, operating uninsured vehicle and arrested for DWLR. She was transported to LASCO Jail and later released with a NTA.
