    IMPACTS
    Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    Heat impacts will be worsened by several consecutive days of sweltering temperatures. Additionally, there will be little relief overnight with near record warm lows forecast in the mid to upper 70s.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

On 9/28/2023 at 12:50 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of E 4thRD & N 20th RD. (Eden TWP) Megan Goskusky (36) of Tonica was driving north on E 4th RD when a deer entered the roadway. She was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of her vehicle.

On 9/28/2023 at 6:01 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 44th RD & E 20th RD. (Adams TWP) Linda Maye (66) of Leland was driving east on N 44th RD when a deer entered the roadway. She was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front right corner of her vehicle.

On 9/28/2023 at 7:04 am LaSalle County Deputies responded to 2776 E 2625th RD (4 Star Campground Manlius TWP) for a domestic battery complaint. Subsequently a 15 year old female was arrested for domestic battery and transported to LASCO JDC.
