On Friday, April 26th at approximately 10:31 p.m., Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on East Seventh Street near South Ottawa Avenue in Dixon for a speeding violation of 48 miles per hour in a posted 30 mile per hour zone.
As a result of the stop, Kaden J. Ulve age 18, of Rock Falls has been arrested and charged with the following: Unlawful Use or Possession of Weapons, a Class 3 Felony. Aggravated Unlawful Use or Possession of Weapons, a Class 4 Felony. Possession of a Firearm without a Firearm Owner’s Identification Card (4 counts), Class A Misdemeanors. Possession of Firearm Ammunition without a Firearm Owner’s Identification Card, a Class A Misdemeanor. Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (30 grams b aut less than 100 grams), Class A Misdemeano
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Dixon Police Department. Callers can remain anonymous and receive rewards of up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
All charges are merely an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
