On Sunday, April 21st, at approximately 11:46 am, the Morrison Police Department was dispatched to 219 Cedar St., Morrison, IL for a civil dispute. During the investigation it was discovered Charles Sumner, Age 47, of Morrison, IL was wanted on a valid warrant for Failure to Appear/Contempt of Court Authority Lee County. Mr. Sumner was taken into custody and transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Jail.
The public is reminded that these are merely charges and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
