On Wednesday, August 14th at approximately 1140am, the Morrison Police Department arrested James M. Searcy, 43, in the 100 Block of West Wall Street on a Civil Order of Commitment. Searcy was transported to the Whiteside County Jail in Lieu of a 300.00 cash bond.
That same day, at approximately 3pm, The Morrison Police Department were called back to the 100 Block of West Wall Street for a report of a possible Violation of Order of Protection. Upon arrival, James M. Searcy, was arrested and charged with Violation of an Order of Protection (Class A Misdemeanor) and Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer (Class 2 Felony). Searcy was transported to the Whiteside County Jail. Morrison Police was assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and Morrison Ambulance Service.
