On August 30th, the Morrison Police Department was called to the 200 block of Pine Street, Morrison, for a report of damage to a vehicle. On September 10th, after a thorough investigation, Morrison Police arrested Israel A. Lopez, 60, Morrison, for Criminal Damage to Property. Lopez received a notice to appear in court and was released.
On September 12th, at approximately 0815 hrs., the Morrison Police Department was called to the 600 block of S. Jackson Street for a report of a Domestic Disturbance. Following an investigation, the Morrison Police Arrested Daniel P. Hepner, 50, Morrison, for Domestic Battery. Hepner was transported and held at the Whiteside County Jail.
The public is reminded that these are merely charges and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
