On 11/12/2022 at 5:16 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a car Vs deer accident with no injuries on RT 71 ¼ mile north of N 35th RD. (Mission TWP) Edward Martin (35) of Ottawa was driving north on RT 71 when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of his vehicle.
