On 11/6/2022 at 12:26 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with minor injuries on E 29th RD ¼ mile south of N 2553rd RD. (Brook Field TWP) Sarah Adkins (38) of Seneca was driving south on E 29th RD when her vehicle left the roadway, entered the west ditch and struck a small tree and shrubs. She was cited for failure to report accident to Police authority.
On 11/12/2022 at 8:39 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries on RT 23 1/8 mile south of N 26th RD. (South Ottawa TWP) Don Kaisner (64) of Fairbury, IL was driving south on RT 23 when a deer entered the roadway and struck the driver’s side of his vehicle.
On 11/13/2022 at 11:50 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries on RT 52 ¾ mile west of E 15th RD. (Freedom TWP) Mirza Baig (48) of Aurora, IL was driving east on RT 52 when he lost control of his vehicle, entered the south ditch and rolled over once.
On 11/13/2022 at 3:15 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries on E 22nd RD ¼ mile north of N 20th RD. (Grand Rapids TWP) Jonathon Barsztaitis (35) of Ottawa was driving north on E 22nd RD when his vehicle left the roadway, entered the east ditch and came to a stop in the field. He was arrested for operating uninsured motor vehicle, failure to report accident to police authority and leaving the scene/accident. Jonathon was released with a NTA.
On 11/13/2022 at 9:05 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on RT 71 & N 38th RD. (Mission TWP) Alli Warman (25) of Yorkville, IL was cited for speeding 87 mph in a 55 mph zone. She was released with a NTA.
