On 10/26/2022 at 4:08 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with minor injuries at the intersection of E 8thRD & N 8th RD. (Osage TWP) Jacob Wiedemann (38) of Clearbrook, MN was driving east on N 8thRD when he lost control of his vehicle, struck a stop sign and entered the southeast ditch. Jacob was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident and arrested for DUI alcohol. He was released with a NTA.
On 10/31/2022 at 2:50 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection US RT 34 & E 1251st RD. (Earl TWP) Gary Greif (59) of Earlville was driving south on E 1251st RD entering the intersection when a vehicle traveling east on RT 34 struck the passenger side of his vehicle. Courtney Johnson (33) of Earlville was driving east on RT 34 when Gary’s vehicle entered the intersection. She was unable to avoid Gary’s vehicle and struck the passenger side. Gary was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident and failure to yield at stop intersection.
On 11/2/2022 at 5:44 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with minor injuries on RT 17 ¼ mile east of E 11th RD. (Osage TWP) Kerrick Dyer (32) of Blackstone, IL was driving west on RT 17 when he lost control of his vehicle causing him to enter the north ditch and over turning.
