On 11/1/2022 at 8:45 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a car Vs deer accident on E 4th Rd ¼ mile south of N 3759th RD. (Troy Grove TWP) Kathleen Koscielski (72) of Peru was driving north on E 4th Rd when a deer ran onto the roadway. She was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front driver’s side headlight.
On 11/2/2022 at 9:41 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a car Vs deer accident on N 30th Rd ¼ mile west of E 2360th Rd. (Fall River TWP) Debora Hansen (62) of Ottawa was driving east on N 30th Rd when a deer ran onto the roadway. She was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front right corner.
On 11/3/2022 at 3:26 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a car Vs deer accident on RT 71 ¼ mile east of E 1251st RD. (South Ottawa TWP) Matthew Obmann (20) of Ottawa was driving east on RT 71 when a deer ran onto the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of his vehicle.
On 11/3/2022 at 4:42 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on RT 6 @ E 9th RD. (Waltham TWP) Russel Devertenil (51) of LaSalle was cited for speeding 73 mph in a 55 mph zone.
On 11/3/2022 at 5:23 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on RT 6 @ E 12th RD. (Utica TWP) Michal Buster (23) of Sauk Village, IL was cited for speeding 74 mph in a 55 mph zone.
