On 12/5/2022 at 7:53 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on RT 6 @ Walnut ST. (Ottawa TWP) Jennifer Kazmierczak (42) of Ottawa was cited for improper use of electric communication device.
On 12/5/2022 at 12:59 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of E 22ndRD & N 17th RD. (Otter Creek TWP) Stephen Broadway (42) of Streator was driving west on N 17th RD when he disobeyed the stop sign at the intersection and struck a vehicle traveling north on E 22nd RD. Charles Tutko (79) of Streator was driving north on E 22nd RD, going through the intersection when Stephens vehicle struck the back right corner of his. Stephen was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid accident.
On 12/5/2022 at 4:41 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with minor injuries at the intersection of RT 52 & E 7th RD. (Waltham TWP) Benjamin Haas (22) of Mendota was driving east on RT 52, slowing down to turn north onto E 7th RD when the vehicle behind him traveling east struck the rear end of his vehicle. William Barbknecht (21) of Waseca, MN was driving east on RT 52 when his vehicle struck the rear end of Benjamin’s vehicle. William was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid accident.
On 12/5/2022 at 10:20 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on E 2625thRD @ N 28th RD. (Manlius TWP) Jennifer Bailey was issued a written warning for inadequate headlamps.
On 12/5/2022 at 10:30pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on RT 6 @ E 2625thRD. (Manlius TWP) Michael Lynn (27) of Marseilles was arrested for operating motor vehicle with registration/suspended and operating uninsured motor vehicle. He was released with a NTA.
