On 1/30/2023 at 9:37 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of 1-8 Eastwood Ave. (Bruce TWP) Jarrad Miller (33) of Fairbury, IL was backing his vehicle n/b on Eastwood Ave when his vehicle struck another vehicle behind him traveling s/b. Ronald Vermilyea (76) of Streator was driving s/b on Eastwood Ave when Jarrad backed into the front end of his vehicle.
On 1/31/2023 at 12:05 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of 2004 Caton RD. (Ottawa TWP) Josimar Valdez (27) of Ottawa was driving south on Caton RD, negotiating a curve when he lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle entered the south ditch and overturned.
On 1/31/2023 at 6:09 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of E 29th Rd & N 2350thRD. (Brookfield TWP) Michael Gerding (49) of Serena was driving south on E 29th RD when a deer ran onto the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer, striking it with the front end of his vehicle.
