LaSalle County Sheriff Report 2/4/2023

On 2/2/2023 at 6:17 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 3806^th RD & E 2288^th Rd. (Serena TWP) Chrystal Sibert (41) of Ottawa was driving east on N 3806^thRD when her vehicle struck an open door of a parked vehicle facing west.

On 2/2/2023 at 7:04 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 25^th RD & N 2519^thRD. (Peru TWP) Daniel Negangard (58) of Catlin, IL was driving west on N 25^thRD when his vehicle entered the e/b lane, negotiating a curve and struck a vehicle traveling east on N 25^th RD. David Shrimplin (58) of spring Valley, IL was driving east on N 25^th RD when Daniel’s vehicle entered his lane and struck the front end of his vehicle. Daniel was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident.

On 2/3/2023 at 12:26 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with minor injuries in the area of N 4251^st RD & N 4351^st RD. (Northville TWP) Kyle Harrison (25) of Sandwich, IL was driving east on N 4251^st Rd, negotiating a curve when he lost control of his vehicle, entering the east ditch, striking a boulder and a fence then came to a rest in the east field. Kyle was cited for DWLS, failure to reduce speed/accident, improper lane usage, failure to notify SOS of address change, operating motor vehicle with expired registration, operating uninsured vehicle and arrested for DUI alcohol. He was released with a NTA.

On 2/3/2023 at 1:45 pm LaSalle County Deputies responded to 1332 RT 34, Dollar General (Earl TWP) for a domestic battery complaint. Justine Coleman (32) of Earlville and Darrell Mosier (48) of Earlville was arrested for domestic battery and transported to LaSalle County Jail.

On 2/3/2023 at 6:30 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 2150^th RD & E 1125^th RD. (Deer Park TWP) Melissa Calhan (36) of Grand Ridge was driving west on N 2150^th Rd when a deer entered the roadway. She was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of her vehicle.
