On 2/28/2023 at 11:58 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of RT 71 & N 35th RD. (Miller TWP) Joy Richmond (61) of Batavia, IL was driving north on RT 71 when a deer ran onto the roadway. Joy was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of her vehicle.
