On 3/11/2023 at 12:32 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 31st RD & RT 71. (Rutland TWP) Clinton Carrera (36) of Marseilles was driving east on N 31st RD when he lost control of his vehicle, entering the north ditch and overturned a couple times. Clinton walked home shortly after the accident. He was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident, improper lane usage, failure to notify police authority and arrested for leaving the scene of accident/vehicle damage. He was released with a NTA.
On 3/12/2023 at 4:34 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 2653rd RD & E 2219th RD. (Fall River TWP) Daniel Gutierrez (18) of Streator was driving east on N 2653rd RD when he lost control of his vehicle, entered the south ditch and struck a utility pole. Daniel was cited for improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed/accident, failure to notify damage/unattended vehicle, failure to notify police authority/property damage and arrested for leaving the scene of accident/property damage. He was released with a NTA.
On 3/14/2023 at 12:59 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 170 & N 13th RD. (Allen TWP) Alex Kopecky (31) of Streator was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 mph zone.
