On 3/10/2023 at 10:00 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of RT 52 & E 8th RD. (Ophir TWP) Joshua Rios (43) of Utica was driving south on E 8th RD when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the east ditch, causing damage to the front end of his vehicle. Joshua was arrested for operating uninsured motor vehicle and leaving the scene of accident/vehicle damage. He was released with a NTA.
On 3/18/2023 at 1:19 am LaSalle county Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 8th RD. (Richland TWP) Samantha Wallace (19) of Ottawa was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 mph zone.
On 3/18/2023 at 8:20 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 6 & E 10th RD. (Utica TWP) A 17 year old male was cited for speeding 76 mph in a 55 mph zone.
