On 4/30/2023 at 2:13 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with minor injuries in the area of N 21st RD & E 24th RD. (Brookfield TWP) Easton Kent (18) of Marseilles was driving west on N 21stRD when he lost control of his vehicle entering the north ditch and struck a road sign. His vehicle then crossed the east bound lane, entered the south ditch and overturned landing on its roof. Easton was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident, improper lane usage, operating uninsured motor vehicle, no valid registration and leaving the scene of accident/vehicle damage. He was released with a NTA.
On 4/30/2023 at 0435 hours LaSalle County Deputies responded to 2597 E 1069thRD. (Deer Park TWP) for a missing person complaint. Missing person, Angel Sellers (22) of Ottawa was located at Hennepin Canyon after falling approximately 100 feet. He was transported from the scene to Good Samaritan Hospital for his injuries. He was later charged with contributing alcohol to the delinquency of a minor. Antonio Sellers (18) of Ottawa will be charged with obstructing justice and illegal consumption of alcohol by a person under the age of 21. Nathan Sellers (41) of Ottawa will be charged with contributing alcohol to the delinquency of a minor and obstructing justice. Rosalba Sellers (58) of Ottawa will be charged with contributing alcohol to the delinquency of a minor and obstructing justice.
On 4/30/2023 at 3:12 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 2250th RD. (Farm Ridge TWP) Charles Sanders (52) of Miami, FL was cited for speeding 76 mph in a 55 mph zone.
On 5/1/2023 at 12:25 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of 2651 N 2553rd RD. (Brookfield TWP) Michael Morse (21) of Ottawa was cited for speeding 87 mph in a 55 mph zone. He was released with a NTA.
On 5/1/2023 at 6:09 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of E 29th RD & N 22ndRD. (Brookfield TWP) Jeremy Krizmanic (22) of Coal City, IL was cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 mph zone.
