On 5/20/23 at 1500 hours, Deputies responded to the area of IL RT 23 and N 2525th RD for single vehicle accident. U1 driver, Voss Ronnie Lee (52) of Streator, IL was traveling northbound on IL Rt 23 and struck a deer in the roadway. No EMS required.
On 05/13/23 at 2259 hours Deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit in the area of Holiday Drive and Barbara Drive (Lake Holiday), Sandwich in Northville Township. The driver of U1, Jacob P. Bolen (18) of Leland, IL (fleeing vehicle) traveled into the opposite lane of traffic and side-swiped the Unit 2 driver, identified as Hannah G. Nitz (18) of Paw Paw, IL and fled the scene. Jacob P. Bolen was issued two citations for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. No EMS required for either driver.
On 05/29/23 at 0016 hours, Deputies responded to 1009 Greenbrier Rd, Earlville in reference to a neighborhood dispute. Belinda L. Janes (36) of Earlville, IL was causing a disturbance outside her residence and disturbing the residents in her area.
Deputies responded back to Belinda’s residence a short time later for the same circumstances. Belinda was charged with two separate counts of Disorderly Conduct. Belinda was charged on scene and released with a Notice to Appear.
