On 4/30/2023 at 12:26 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries in the parking lot of (High Heels) 2678 N 48th RD. (Northville TWP) Mauricio Beltran-Nieto (32) of DeKalb, IL backed out of a parking spot and struck the rear end of a parked vehicle. He was cited for failure to report accident to Police authority and leaving the scene of accident/vehicle damage.
On 5/4/2023 at 11:27 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of RT 23 & N 2250th RD. (Farm Ridge TWP) Alexis Johnson (20) of Streator was driving south on RT 23 when her vehicle left the roadway and struck the west ditch embankment.
On 5/5/2023 at 9:46 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 2525th RD. (South Ottawa TWP) Robyn James (18) of LaSalle was cited for speeding 93 mph in a 55 mph zone. She was released with a NTA.
