On 6/11/2023 at 1:00 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of W 2nd ST & Kelly ST. (Bruce TWP) Anthony Kalabsa (31) of Elgin, IL was driving west on 2nd ST when he drove onto the north shoulder and struck a dog then left the scene. Anthony was cited for failure to reduce speed /accident, failure to report accident to police authority and failure to give information after striking other property. He was released with a NTA.
On 6/14/2023 at 5:40 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 2551st RD & E 150th RD. (Peru TWP) Joseph Carter (41) of Princeton, IL was driving east on N 2551stRD when he swerved to avoid a deer causing his vehicle to enter the south ditch and strike multiple fence posts.
On 6/17/2023 at 9:22 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & Arch ST. (South Ottawa TWP) Alex White (21) of Ottawa was cited for defective muffler and improper display of registration.
On 6/17/2023 at 5:25 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Walnut ST & Field ST. (LaSalle TWP) Araceli Lopez (38) of LaSalle was cited for operating uninsured motor vehicle. She was released with a NTA.
On 6/17/2023 at 5:40 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 351 & Walnut ST. (LaSalle TWP) Janette Hernandez-Flores (18) of Depue, IL was cited for obstructed front windshield.
