    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    Heat impacts will be worsened by several consecutive days of sweltering temperatures, with little relief overnight as lows will only be in the mid to upper 70s.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

On 6/21/2023 at 10:54 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of E Bridge ST & S Wasson ST. (Bruce TWP) The passenger Bradley Gray (28) of Streator was cited for possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was released with a NTA.

On 6/24/2023 at 4:27 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 7th RD. (Richland TWP) Isaiah Houston (26) of Streator was cited for speeding 103 mph in a 55 mph zone and operating uninsured motor vehicle. He was released with a NTA.

On 6/24/2023 at 3:07 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single motorcycle accident with no injuries at the intersection of E 15th RD & N 15th RD. (Eagle TWP) William Hendrickson (55) of Wenona proceeded west through the intersection, making a wide turn causing his front tire to hit gravel and loosing control. His motorcycle entered the ditch and landed on its right side. He was cited for no valid drivers license and operating uninsured motor vehicle. He was released with a NTA.

On 6/24/2023 at 7:35 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 351 & N 2969thRD. (LaSalle TWP) Mark O’Connor (20) of Princeton was cited for operating uninsured motor vehicle. He was released with a NTA.

On 6/25/2023 at 1:23 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 0 RD. (Hope TWP) Anthony Allen (19) of Peoria, IL was cited for speeding 74 mph in a 55 mph zone.

On 6/25/2023 at 1:29 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 14th RD. (Eagle TWP) Darnell Smith (37) of LaSalle was cited for speeding 78 mph in a 55 mph zone.

On 6/25/2023 at 1:50 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 1st RD. (Hope TWP) Robyn Brown (42) of West Allis, WI was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 mph zone and no valid registration.

On 6/25/2023 at 1:56 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 13th RD. (Eagle TWP) Shawn Thompson (45) of Ottawa was cited for speeding 74 mph in a 55 mph zone.

On 6/25/2023 at 1:59 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 251 & N 38th RD. (Troy Grove TWP) Sean Figueroa (19) of Mendota was cited for operating uninsured motor vehicle. He was released with a NTA.
