On 6/27/2023 at 8:09 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 6 & LaSalle ST. (Ottawa TWP) Agustin Leon-Montes (47) of Ottawa was cited for failure to wear seat belt.

On 6/27/2023 at 8:46 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Columbus ST & Main ST. (Ottawa TWP) Claire Ward (18) of Pontiac, IL was cited for failure to wear seat belt. Her passenger Bailey Smetanko (24) of Pontiac, IL was also cited for failure to wear seat belt.

On 6/27/2023 at 9:13 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & Arch ST. (South Ottawa TWP) David Berrong (40) of Seneca was cited for failure to wear seat belt.

On 6/27/2023 at 6:10 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single motorcycle accident with minor injuries in the area of RT 71 & E 1251st RD. (Deer Park TWP) Gage Underwood (26) of Ottawa was driving west on RT 71 when he lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a curve. His motorcycle entered the north ditch and overturned causing him to be ejected.

On 6/28/2023 at 8:45 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Lundy ST & Illinois ST. (Bruce TWP) Matthew Scott (32) of Streator was arrested for DWLS. He was released with a NTA. His passenger Ferando Alvarado (26) of Streator was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.
