On 7/12/2023 at 1:24 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with minor injuries in the area of Lake Holiday DR & Lois LN. (Northville TWP) Robert Simpson (41) of Ottawa was driving south on Holiday DR, fleeing from Sandwich Police when his vehicle veered to the left striking a mail box, stop sign and ditch embankment. Robert was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident, improper lane usage, disobeying traffic control device and arrested for DWLR. He was released with a NTA.
On 7/12/2023 at 6:45 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 251 & N 34th RD. (Dimmick TWP) Shaliquia Givs-Chapman (46) of Ottawa was arrested for DWLS and operating uninsured motor vehicle. She was released with a NTA.
On 7/13/2023 at 12:52 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 34 & E 10th RD. (Meriden TWP) A 17 year old male of Somonauk, IL was cited for operating uninsured motor vehicle.
On 7/13/2023 at 11:34 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of 127 E Norris DR. (Ottawa TWP) David Ford JR (44) of Ottawa was cited for operating uninsured motor vehicle.
