Sterling Police responded to a request for assistance from another law enforcement agency on the 700 block of 1st Avenue. During the response, 32-year-old Gregory A. Davis was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting a peace officer.
In unrelated traffic stops, authorities cited two drivers—one for operating a vehicle with a suspended license and another for driving without insurance.
