Sterling Police arrested 64-year-old Nicholas Galvan of Sterling on a Whiteside County warrant related to failure to appear on a larceny charge. Galvan is now being held at the Whiteside County Jail. In a separate incident, authorities cited Drake A. Riley, age 21, of Springfield for speeding following a traffic stop on East Lincolnway.
