Schuyler County Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports a busy week with several traffic-related incidents and criminal activities from October 21st to October 28th. Notably, Issa Olagunju and other individuals were cited for significant speeding violations, with speeds reaching up to 80 mph in a 55 mph zone. Additionally, Katrina Stone of Pekin was arrested on a no-bond warrant and remains in custody.
The week also saw occurrences of wildlife collisions, with multiple drivers, including Christina Byers and Chanche Little, hitting deer. Law enforcement is also investigating the theft of multiple tools from a property on Old Airport Road. These diverse incidents highlight ongoing safety and security issues within the county.
