The Kewanee Girls Fresh/Soph Track team took first place in team competition at the Irv Sanderson Invitational this week. Full results are linked here.
As for the Kewanee Boys Fresh/ Soph Track Team, they were in Geneseo this week for a meet.

“The Kewanee boys track team competed in 2 F/S invites in the last two days, on Tuesday they went to Geneseo where Anthony Padilla placed first in the 110 HH sophomore division. Jesus Del Toro placed 2nd in the 300 LH and 3rd in the 110 HH freshman division. The Kewanee F/S 4×800 relay placed 2nd out of 9 teams running a 9:40. On Wednesday the F/S team went to Erie with a less than full team. Alex Ly won the 3200 with a time of 12:08, Jason Rusk got 2nd in the 1600, Gustavo Bermudez threw for 2nd in shot put, Malik Drop placed 2nd in discus, Jose Garcia placed 2nd in pole vault, and the 4×800 managed 2nd place. Kewanee will be in Sherrard tonight for the Tiger Relays.”
