The Central Lady Steamers pulled out a win over Dunlap Middle School Wednesday night to clench the 4A Regional Championship. In the first game, it took a little time for the Steamers to get their composure but then they soon took the lead and never looked back. Central took the first game 25-16. In the second game, Dunlap wasn’t just going to roll over, they found an outlet that helped them overcome Central and took that game 25-19. It came down to the final game to decide who was going to win and it was a hard-fought one between both schools. Central was trailing most of the game by as many as five points to Dunlap. After a time-out towards the end of the game, Central rallied back and tied it up at 20-20. Central fought for each point of that game and went on to win the third game 25-22. The Steamers came back from a deficit in the third game and scored 9 points to Dunlap’s 2 points to take the Regional Title.

The Sectional game will be played on Monday, March 13 at 6:30 pm at Dunlap Valley Middle School.
