Anistyn Lovell received the Outstanding Sportsmanship pin at tonight’s Sectional match.
The Bombers season comes to and end with a 17-25, 13-25 loss to Morton. They finished with a record of 23-3. Even though it wasn’t the outcome we wanted, this loss doesn’t take away from the tremendous success the team had this season. They took first place in all 3 tournaments, and their only losses were to three fantastic teams. These girls showed up to practice every day, worked hard, pushed each other to be better, laughed, and left it all out on the court. Wherever their future in high school takes them, if it’s with MHS volleyball or another sport or club, they will find success and thrive because of their relentless pursuit of their goals.
