The Annawan Boys Basketball team picked up another blowout on Friday night when they took on West Central. Gabe Sims scored 19 points to lead the Braves to a 71 to 44. Brody Childs added 18, including 10 points in a huge second half that finished the big win. Annawan is now 15 and 2 on the season. Coach Alex Coppejans praised his team’s effort and complimented the effort of West Central on X “Braves earn a home win over a very well coached & hard working West Central team 71-44. Great contributions from guys up & down the lineup. 9 guys in the scorebook led by Gabe Sims w/ 19, Brody Childs with 18, Drew Wise with 8, and Brady Heitzler with 7.”
Annawan plays again on Saturday, January 6th against South County.
