Orion High School’s Kamryn Brown scores her 1,000th career point

Kamryn Brown, a junior at Orion High School, achieved a significant milestone by scoring her 1,000th career point for the Orion Chargers Girls Basketball team on Monday night. This remarkable achievement occurred during a game against the Rockridge Rockets, held in front of an enthusiastic home crowd filled with her family and friends.

The Chargers also hosted their annual fundraiser night benefiting St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Both teams supported this great cause by wearing special shirts during warm-ups, on the shirts, it read “HOOPS FOR ST. JUDE.” They ended up raising a over $2,000 that will be presented to St. Jude.

The Chargers are on the road tomorrow night in Galva for a Varsity only matchup. Tip-off is set for 6:00 PM.
