Princeton Upends Kewanee Boys Basketball

The Princeton Tigers overtook the Kewanee Boilermakers in Princeton on Monday night, ending the Boilermakers 3 game winning streak. The final score Princeton 61, Kewanee 55. Princeton pulled off the win thanks to a strong first half which ended with Princeton leading by 8. The Tigers then fended off a Boilermakers comeback in the second half to hold on for the victory. Kewanee was led by leading scorer Brady Clark who had 22 points. Kashen Ellerbrock had a season high 13 for the Boilers while Blaise Lewis added 12 points in the losing effort for the Boilermakers. With the win, Princeton improved to 8 and 8 on the season, 4 and 1 in the conference. Kewanee dropped to 11 and 6 with the loss and 2 and 1 in conference play. The Boilermakers are off until Friday against Hall. Princeton was set to play tonight though that game may be postponed due to weather conditions.
