The Wethersfield Flying Geese defeated Knoxville on Friday, January 19th, in blowout fashion. Landon Sauer scored 10 of his eventual, team-leading, 20 points in the second quarter as Wethersfield began pulling away from the visiting Knoxville squad. Sauer would keep up his hot shooting in the third quarter as his team put the game entirely out of reach. Colin Hornbeck backed up Sauer with 18 points while Zeb Rashid added 13 points. The win moved Wethersfield to 6 and 9 on the season, 2 and 1 in conference play. The Wethersfield boys are back in action on Tuesday night against Biggsville West Central.
