Huge 3rd Quarter Leads Princeton to Win Over Kewanee Boys Basketball

The Kewanee Boilermakers played a terrific first half, trading the lead back and forth with their unbeaten rivals the Princeton Tigers. Then the 3rd quarter arrived. Princeton leading scorer Grady Thompson put up 12 of his 28 points on the night during a 3 quarter run that saw Princeton score 30 points in just the 3rd quarter while holding Kewanee to only 7 points in the same quarter. Princeton’s Teegan Davis added 15 points for the Tigers on their way to a 78 to 48 win. Brady Clark led the Kewanee Boilermakers with 17 points while Blaise Lewis had 10 for Kewanee. The Kewanee boys are off until Friday night when they travel to Bureau Valley. Princeton will take their undefeated record to Mendota on Friday night and Rock Falls on Saturday afternoon.
