Kewanee Boys Track Wins Brockman Invitational

The Kewanee Boilermakers boys team won the 78th Brockman Invitational last night in Kewanee. Anthony Padilla led the way winning the 110 and 300 hurdles and was also a member of the 4×200 and 4×400 1st place relays. Padilla also broke the Kewanee F/S record in the 300 hurdles that he had previously tied this year with a time of 41.62.

JJ Roginski was not far behind winning the high jump and the 400M and anchoring the come from behind win in the 4x400M relay. Leo Gandarilla won both the shot and discus while Tre Amos won the long jump was 2nd in the 200 and was a member of the winning 4×200 relay. Dontaveon Thomas won the triple jump and grabbed 2nds in high and long jumps. Davontae Jordan was a member of both victorious relays, and Jack Coombes was the final member of the 4×400 relay. Daniel Boswell threw for a 3rd place finish in shot and a less than 100% Tyson Currie helped the 4×200 to victory and placed 3rd in the 200M and gave 100% effort on a night when he was not feeling well.
