Kewanee High School is updating its sports schedule for Monday, August 21st, due to the potential for extreme temperatures. According to Kewanee High School this afternoon’s soccer match up between Kewanee and Limestone at Kewanee has been pushed back to a 6 PM start time and the Junior Varsity game, scheduled to take place prior to the Varsity game, has been cancelled. Meanwhile, the Varsity Tennis match up against East Peoria this afternoon in Kewanee has been cancelled due to the extreme temperatures. There is no word as to whether it will be rescheduled or not. Tomorrow’s tennis matchup, which had Kewanee traveling to Rock Island, has also been cancelled due to the weather.
