Good weekend for the Kewanee boilermakers, first visiting Oregon. Kewanee started very slow and soon the boilers were losing 2-0, the captains started talking with the team trying to react to the score.
Kewanee started shooting to Oregon’s goal and at minute 27 of first half Isidro Martinez took a beautiful shot far from the goalie and then the party started. The boilermakers started dominating every single line of the field not letting Oregon borrow the ball and the boilers won the game 5-3.

Last night we visited Illini bluff, they were celebrating their senior night.
Game started very intense for both teams, turn out to be very physical, but Kewanee started ahead with a shot that Cazares took and Illini’s goalie couldn’t control and was first goal, Cristian Cazares again using his abilities and speed to leave the defense behind and scored again. Then he was a target and he had to be sub because a big elbow on his ribs, so we kept him out the rest of the game (he is on 101 goals).
We had to make adjustments Tyson Currie now as a striker, he was very dangerous for the bluffs defense.
JJ Roginski started using his experience and lead the team, Roginski scored the final goal for the boilermakers on a penalty kick. Another win for the boilermakers 3-0
