Another good soccer day for the boilermakers, playing against Peoria, with score in Kewanee’s favor 4-1. Kewanee played smart against a Peoria team that had a lot of talent. Early on in the game Cristian Cazares scored with only two minute since the initial whistle, scoring with a right foot kick, his second goal took some work, making use of his speed, leaving the defenders behind him and with a left foot kick scored, the third goal came from Michael Bermudez, in a lo throw in pass from James Roginski, and without letting the ball bounce, Bermudez kick the ball softly with his left foot, and the fourth goal almost at the last minute, Isidro Martinez kick the ball from outside the goalie box far from the reach of Peoria goalie.
Something to be aware of:
Santos Contreras is the player with more goals (88 goals) in four years that he played, now Cristian Cazares (76 goals right now) is 12 goals away to tie Santos’s record and 13 goals to set a new record .
