Kewanee High School soccer standout Cristian Cazares is set to elevate his soccer career at Blackburn College starting in the 24-25 academic year. Cazares, the all-time leading scorer for the Boilermakers, played a pivotal role in securing an 11-7-2 record for his team, earning him a spot on the 2023 TRAC 1st Team All-Conference. As Blackburn College looks to strengthen their men’s soccer team following a challenging 23-24 season, Cazares’ addition is anticipated to boost the team’s offensive capabilities. Blackburn, a historic college founded in 1837 in Carlinville, Illinois, competes in NCAA Division III and is known for their spirited athletic programs.
