Kewanee Softball Players Announce College Intentions

A pair of Kewanee Softball players have made official where they will be playing softball in 2023. Seniors Mikaela Salisbury and Marissa Stevens were part of College letter of intent signings last week at Kewanee High School. Mikaela Salisbury will continue playing Softball at Heartland College. Salisbury was joined at the signing event by Casey Jeffereson {Heartland Head Softball Coach}, Robert Weston, Kewanee High School Head Softball Coach, Duane Stevens {Travel Team {BallHawks} Coach}, Angela Salisbury {Mother}, JR Salisbury {Father, Travel Team Coach & KHS Softball Asst Coach}, John Rico [Travel Team Coach.

As for Marissa Stevens, she has signed a letter of intent to play Softball and attend college at Southeastern Illinois College. Marissa was joined at her signing event by Duane Stevens {Father, Travel Team {Ball Hawks Coach} }, Jenny Stevens {Mother} John Rico {Travel Team Coach}, Maggie Calcaterra [ Southeastern Ill College Head Coach], Robert Weston [Kewanee High School Head Softball Coach} , JR Salisbury, {Kewanee High School Asst Softball Coach and Travel Team Coach
