Kewanee Freshman Kaleigh Gale could not have had a more impressive debut in Varsity Softball. In a game against Monmouth Roseville, Gale started on the mound and went the distance without giving up a hit, a complete no-hitter for the freshman. But Gale wasn’t just a star on the mound. At the plate, Gale went 4 for 4 with 2 RBIs and scored four of the 16 runs that Kewanee scored in the 16 to 0 win over Mon-Rose. Ava LaFollette had 4 RBI’s as well in the win.
