    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 20 to 30 minutes. Wind chill values this low can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Wear appropriate clothing, including dressing in layers, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly.

Syla Swords and Ashley Sofilkanich each scored 17 points as No. 6 Michigan routed Akron 85-59 on Saturday afternoon at Ann Arbor, Mich.

Olivia Olson added 16 points and Mila Holloway had 12 for the Wolverines (9-1), who won despite making only four of 15 attempts from 3-point range.

Michigan led 48-30 at halftime on the way to winning its fifth game in a row.

Cotie McMahon’s 24 points and 11 rebounds boosted the Rebels in the runaway outcome at Oxford, Miss.

Ole Miss (9-1) received 18 points and 11 rebounds from Latasha Lattimore and 13 points from Christeen Iwuala. McMahon shot 10-for-18 from the field.

Toni Warren’s 15 points and Queen Ikhiuwu’s 14 points were tops for Wofford (4-6), which was 1-for-8 on 3-pointers and outrebounded 53-27.
