“I thought that we did a great job under the conditions- of both the weather and some illness
and injury before and during the meet. Our sprint relays were affected the most by it. I was
extremely proud of our freshmen sprint group that was able to help us in every single relay that we ran at this meet. The freshmen class as a whole has been a great addition to our team with their spirit and enthusiasm. Congratulations to Morgan Foes and Camryn Driscoll for earning their second straight trip to Charleston. And much thanks to our other seniors: Morgan Richards, Georgie and Scarlet Fulton, and Miyah Fox. Miyah has come so close to qualifying for State in the 100 hurdles several times and was close again tonight. I thought that she gave it a great effort this year, especially with getting started so late as she recovered from her basketball injury. Morgan R. has, along with Morgan F., given us a formidable duo in the throws for four years. And the Fulton twins have been in the heart of our sprint relays since day one, both showing strong improvement along the way. Our distant corps had a nice showing here as well- having personal bests or near personal bests in their events or relay splits. All in all, even though there were some rough edges tonight, I was very pleased with our efforts.” Pat Hodge-Princeton“““—
