In a rollercoaster game at Neuroscience Group Field, the Quad Cities River Bandits started strong but ultimately fell 9-5 to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Early momentum was on the Bandits’ side with Kale Emshoff and Carson Roccaforte driving in runs. However, the Timber Rattlers quickly countered, with Jesus Chirinos’ three-run homer erasing the Bandits’ lead. Wisconsin’s Ramon Rodriguez proved pivotal, contributing critical hits that shifted the game’s tide. Despite a promising start, Quad Cities’ pitchers struggled, allowing multiple home runs. Wisconsin’s bullpen, led by Chase Costello, who clinched the win, held the Bandits to minimal hits in the latter stages. Quad Cities looks to rebound in Wednesday’s matchup, with Ben Kudrna scheduled to start.
