In a dramatic showdown at Fox Cities Stadium, the Quad Cities River Bandits faced another tough loss, succumbing 6-5 to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Despite taking an early lead with Spencer Nivens driving in two runs, the Bandits couldn’t hold on. Wisconsin clawed back, tying the game and eventually taking the lead in the late innings thanks to pivotal hits by Luis Lara and Jheremy Vargas. The River Bandits’ attempt to break their three-game losing streak continues as they pin their hopes on Steven Zobac in the next game scheduled for a 6:40 p.m. start against Wisconsin’s K.C. Hunt.
