SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea’s transport ministry said on Monday it aims to change the structures of “localizer” antenna used to guide landings at airports this year.
The ministry had conducted an inspection of navigation safety structures at domestic airports since the Dec. 29 crash of a Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 jet that killed 179 passengers on board.
