Residents in Rock Falls, take note: on Thursday, August 29th, starting at 7:00 a.m., a critical upgrade to the water distribution system will commence at the intersection of Avenue A and East 6th Street.
This essential work, conducted by Martin Excavation alongside the Water Department, will result in a temporary water shutdown affecting Avenue A from East 5th to East 7th Streets. The outage is expected to last between 3 to 4 hours. Consequently, a boil order will be issued for the specified area. Water samples will be sent to a lab for testing the same day. Note that Pizza Hut’s service will remain uninterrupted during this period.
