The Illinois Valley Community College Foundation’s Annual Scholarship Recognition Ceremony celebrated over 260 students. Held in the college gymnasium, this gathering saw over 350 attendees, including proud family members and generous donors. Together, they celebrated the awarding of $370,000 in scholarships, a testament to the strong community support for education and student success at IVCC. This ceremony not only highlighted the financial generosity of the donors but also the hard work and dedication of the students receiving these scholarships.
“Our donors continue to champion for our students,” Beattie said. “They are changing lives by easing the financial burden our students face, and tonight they made each one of them feel very special. It’s about making a difference.”
The application period for scholarships covering the 2025–26 school year will be Thursday, February 6th, through Thursday, March 6th, 2025. Recipients will be notified in May 2025.
