Samantha Rux from OSF Healthcare joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to talk about flu shot clinics at Kewanee and Wethersfield School Districts. Samantha also talks about healthy options for pumpkins. The OSF HealthCare Flu Clinics start the first week of October in the Kewanee School District. The Wethersfield School District is holding its flu clinic on October 10th. If you want your children to receive a flu shot at school, you must return the release form from the school, or you can download the form on the school’s web pages. The Feast of Saint Francis is on October 4th and will be celebrated at OSF St. Luke Medical Center on October 2nd. The Henry County Humane Society will be at the hospital for the Feast of Saint Francis from 11 AM to 1 PM. The public is invited to come meet animals available for adoption at the Kewanee Animal Shelter. A Blessing of the Pets will be at 12:30 PM. There is a community health forum in Kewanee on October 8th at 5 PM at Cerno’s. If you receive an invitation, don’t forget to RSVP.
